"My married woman and I spent 2 nights at the RiverView Inn, and enjoyed the experience. The Inn appears to be a refurbished 1950's era motel, where the owners have done a nice job updating the rooms and property. Location is a positive, with private balcony's from each room offer overnice views from Scout Mountain … The location puts yous close to area attractions, but removed from urban Chattanooga. We establish the bed to exist very comfortable, offering the best "starting time night sleep" we've had in a hotel in a long time. The room had been updated, and while squeamish, could have used better chairs for relaxation. While it was too cold to fully relish the balustrade, information technology was a prissy space, though road noise diminished some of the quiet of the state setting. Aside from the check-in process, the staff was groovy and very friendly. The breakfast was adept, offer a variety of hot and cold items; information technology was served in a bright common space, which was an enjoyable place to dine. As some reviewers accept noted, we were able to hear guests in adjacent rooms, but it wasn't a problem. Overall, this was a nice place to stay, and we'd recommend!"
"I stayed here final week as part of a hymeneals group that rented out the entire inn. The location is great as it is on the side of the mountain with incredible views of Chattanooga and the surrounding mountains. The rooms you lot tin can tell were recently renovated, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nicely finished. To top information technology off they have Beekman toiletries which says a lot to attention to particular. The included breakfast in the skybox was great with the choices changing out on a daily basis. I exercise echo others when they mention the sparse walls simply this is not a place that is going to be bound break primal with partying so this was a non-outcome. If you are in boondocks for a few nights, I would highly consider staying here."
"This is the second time that we visited Chattanooga/Lookout Mount, and after doing some research during our kickoff visit, we realized that we wanted to stay at the Riverview Inn (which at the fourth dimension was totally booked). This charming, historical roadway inn is a perfect place to relax if you lot are spending the night in Chattanooga or planning a more extended visit at that place or to Lookout Mountain. When we called for reservations during our first visit, we have the luck to speak with forepart desk host Angie - an absolute treasure who adds tremendously to the quality of guests' enjoyment of the inn and the area. The hospitality manufacture is sorely in need of more than people like Angie! The inn has a swell view of Picket Mountain from each apartment's dorsum porch and the verynice puddle and breakfast areas. "

"We stayed for our anniversary and were a bit disappointed. It's a fine plenty hotel, it just actually isn't worth the price (at least in my opinion). Nosotros chose it bc it arguably seemed similar the nicest/highest terminate hotel in Chattanooga and although we didn't await a Four Seasons experience, to us we might also have stayed at their sister hotel, the Moxy for a lot less and received a similar experience with a few less "luxuries". The rooms are small, with new cheap furnishings, that I incertitude will historic period well, and had that similar modern look of The Moxy. We were in a Male monarch Room, overlooking construction and pretty much on the street- so no privacy. We asked if there were other rooms bachelor (since equally loyalty members our status immune an upgrade, if available) but there were none and told we could motility the next day. We decided to get out it, although the room was not dandy, it was fine just the following morning we called to become our room cleaned (need to specially request due to Covid) and nosotros came back at 3 PM it still had not been cleaned. We decided to accept them upward on the now available upgrade- which at start, wasnt even going to be an upgrade, it was just going to be ane floor college, with the aforementioned view. I pushed back and then got another King room on the other side of the hotel, slightly larger in size. I thought that was really disappointing- it was a Dominicus, not about at capacity, nosotros are entitled to an upgrade if bachelor but they all the same tried to brusk change us and for what? Information technology was no loss to them to give us that amend room. When my husband went downstairs to get the central, they offered us a free breakfast, for the side by side day, which we took them up on and will say it was quite good. Another shortcoming was a bank check in- lost opportunity to tell us what was bachelor at the hotel, no mention of the cyberspace, the rooftop bar, the pool- simply told u.s. about the spa. I did my research awhile back and forgot about the rooftop bar, which I had wanted to go to. The staff were friendly merely don't seem to exist well versed in some of the nuts of customer service. Hotel is in a slap-up location and is a lovely urban center. Nosotros will be dorsum but side by side time will consider staying at 1 of the Inns in the neighborhood, the Moxy or perhaps the Read Business firm. This hotel doesn't seem to requite any extras worth the cost differences of others in the area. "
"Nosotros've been tremendously impressed with the aesthetic of the hotel, but the experience wouldn't accept been the same without the crawly staff we met: Calvin, Drew, and Josh C. With their genuine interest in our stay and their pleasant, enthusiastic demeanors, they've now become part of a family retentiveness and anytime you tin say that, information technology is a approving. They remembered our names, sought u.s. out in the lobby, and listened to our stories. We've never stayed anywhere that is so stunningly creative with a staff to lucifer. I was able to accept thirteen different pictures of our room! The Edwin is an inspiration and something we'll never forget!"
"This place is an absolute MUST visit when my boyfriend and I are in Chattanooga. The views with the patio seating are beautiful, the food is ever delicious, and the drinks are business firm specialized are unique and so refreshing. The staff is and so friendly and accommodating too. Honey this identify!"

"Nosotros stayed here for a volleyball tournament. The hotel was the host for the tournament, and we had to stay in that location. The hotel was completely full. Negatives- It was sometimes hard to get an elevator. Nosotros were too on the 3rd flooring and were unable to get to the lobby using the stairs without walking through a restaurant the that they did not want us walking through. The parking deck but worked right i time using our hotel guest tag. We had to call the number, and 1 fourth dimension they didn't reply, so we had to pay once again due to a building line. The hotel was no help, and we had to call the deck directly. It was all just a lot of hassles. The water in our shower was never really hot. Sliding come across through doors on bathroom are not ideal There were limited affordable restaurant choices within walking distance Positives- Our room was upgraded and then nosotros had more room. The staff all seemed pretty nice. Information technology was connected to the convention hall where we played volleyball. Our room was clean. They had soft Kleenex and soft Cottennelle toilet paper. "
"Hotel was very clean. Room was only redone and similar new. Loved the shower and bed condolement. Adjacent convention center with piece of cake admission. Parking was correct there with easy in and out. All staff I interacted with was friendly and helpful."
"My mother-in-law chose this hotel for our family for New year's Eve Bc nosotros accept kids who love to swim. Check in was great, lobby is super nice and welcoming. Parking was like shooting fish in a barrel! The room itself is non upwards to date peculiarly for a Marriott in such a location. I have stayed in holiday inns with amend, updated rooms. The carpet and furniture was outdated. Fancy showers, minus our room had 0 wash cloths and blank minimum soaps/etc. very outdated hair dryer. The restaurant at the hotel was skilful! Pool was warm and clean! Brand sure to know that hours posted are 8 am - 10pm and that'due south definitely a lie. They close the pool at 8pm. "

"Nosotros were quite displeased with our recent stay at this hotel. We accept been SPG/Marriot, now Bonvoy members for well over 30 Years. No acknowledgment of this when we checked in. We were assigned room # 522 and fifty-fifty though a college floor was on our reservation we accustomed what nosotros were given. This is an executive king with the split up bedroom and 1-i/2 baths. When we went to hang our clothes in the closet, we noticed the rod was only about 40" off the floor with a shelf in a higher place. We did not accept coats or me a dress and then it wasn't a big deal merely fabricated united states of america curious. Nosotros cheque the other closet inside the door and it was the strangest closet we have ever seen. Information technology was very large the only thing in it was an ironing board and atomic number 26. No rod, cipher else. We started to think we were given an accessible room and perhaps that was for a wheelchair. Although the bath was non, nosotros thought they maybe changed it dorsum to a regular room without fixing the closets. We just couldn't figure out this strange room. I check to exist sure there were downwards and foam pillows on the bed but at that place were only cream so we called for downwards pillows. They brought some only they were the same as we had just squishy cream. It took another trip for them to get it somewhat right. Pillows were lumpy and not what the heavenly bed pillows are suppose to be. We then noticed the "Do Not disturb" sign was missing, so I headed down to the front desk to go one. The two young lades in that location did not understand or speak English language also well . I and then asked if we were given an accessible room because of the closet. They did not understand so I tried to explain. I said in that location was no room for long clothing like a dress. She idea I was talking about a dresser. I said it's ok forget information technology. As soon as I got upstairs here comes the same guy who brought the pillows to check the dresser. This hotel needs to do better with hiring staff who tin can understand English. I told him about the sign and he went to become one. Estimate the forepart desk girls didn't understand that either. While sitting on the couch I noticed a aroma from the carpet. Information technology smelled like a dog, another reviewer mentioned this as well. I ignored it as we were only there for 2 days. Our suite had ane-1/ii baths and the bleed associates was broken, stuck downward so no water could drain in the 1/ii bath. The housekeeper was all ready to get out when we were returning to the room and then my hubby showed information technology to her. Why she didn't she notice information technology while cleaning? It was a vessel sink with no drainage pigsty so if it filled and overflowed that would have a real problem. She called and 2 engineers came. They had to take autonomously the whole cabinet and deemed they needed parts. We told them exit it so the water would drain and come back when we checked out the adjacent day. I inquired about the closets and they said they were all similar ours and agreed y'all could not hang long clothing in them. They didn't know why the other closet had no rod. They said they had been the"
"Our room was comfortable and clean, with a mount view. The morning time came, and we were able to check out rapidly, and the 3 front desk managers were very friendly. I wished nosotros could stay longer. We didn't get to try the hotel market or restaurants around the hotel. If nosotros come back to Chattanooga, the surrounding area coupled with the ambience and mode of the hotel, will bring u.s. back to stay. Thank you for the restful sleep and kindness."
"My family and I have stayed at this property on numerous occasions and it never disappoints. The guest rooms, F&B and guest amenities are truly pinnacle notch. The staff is wonderful. True cat, Megan & Michael at the Front Desk are personable and all-around. Well managed."

"Had the nigh astonishing stay at this wonderful hotel - delight disregard whatever review that says anything other then that this hotel is excellent!! For those like us concerned about our wellness during a pandemic, this hotel and every member of their staff was spot on in terms of mask wearing, social distancing and cleanliness. We never felt we were in Any jeopardy when it came to COVID - so if you are looking for a safe and relaxing visit during this crisis - this is the place to go! From our showtime contact with the hotel - which included a call earlier our stay to check on details of our stay - we received the highest level of service possible. On that call, Brenden provided meaningful insight into our stay and made sure our visit was outstanding. Our room - a Mountain Suite was beyond belief - incredible views, lots of infinite and offset class furnishings. For those reading that "construction" the hotel is undergoing is "challenging" - those messages are wrong. Nosotros experiened NO inconvenience from the renovations - no noise, no stopping u.s. from doing what we planned to do during our visit. And when all of the work is washed, this hotel is going to be a true five star resort. We can't look to go back and experience the final result - simply outstanding. The hotel has a smashing new dining experience - the Loftier Rail - and it gets half-dozen stars from us. We did non bask the eating house one time, not two times simply three times - and every bill of fare item we tried was outstanding. The cook has done a dandy chore of making a very desirable carte du jour, with incredible fresh ingredients. Everything was delicious. And did I mention the bar was just equally inviting - with great drinks and a wonderful menu of local craft beers on tap. Highly recommend everyone to make this office of your program. As wonderful as our room was, as much as nosotros loved the Loftier Rails, the BEST thing well-nigh this hotel is the staff - every unmarried person we dealt with during our stay was increible - they were professional but more importantly they were always trying to find a way to make our stay more pleasurable. Nosotros have to phone call out the following staff members for their incredible service - Brenden, Gordon and Carly at the front desk were ALL exceptional. Truly no request was too much and their willingness to brand our stay more than pleasurable was always evident. We tin't thank each of them enough for a great time. And at the Loftier Rail, we had the treat to exist served twice by Colleen who was so very helpful - whether information technology was answering questions upon questions or making great recommendation. Definitely ask for Colleen! Delight put the Chattanoogan on your must visit list! We will definitely exist back - presently! Thanks to everyone on staff for a dandy trip!"
"This is a beautiful, clean, and up to engagement hotel, just we were most pleased with the staff. Carly at the front desk went out of her way to brand sure nosotros were comfortable and Tim and Vance in Engineering science were so nice and helpful. We ate at the High Runway twice and enjoyed skillful nutrient, atmosphere, and service. Every staff fellow member nosotros encountered truly knows the business organisation of hospitality and we are grateful. Continue upwards the not bad work! "
"We stayed at The Chattanoogan for a briefing. At that place were some issues with our room but Brenden Meers took actress efforts to make certain everything was addressed properly and professionally. He was kind, considerate and friendly. Brenden took care to make what could have been a tough state of affairs run smoothly. This hotel is cute and is in walking distance from lots of cool places!"

"My married man and I are from Chattanooga and wanted to just have a night to break free from routine and a long week working and we chose to stay in the Diplomatic mission suite in Chattanooga. This place is beautiful, comfy, roomy and the decor was but right. The location is near user-friendly most a local mall and lots of restaurants nearby. They have a breakfast buffet that was astonishing and the staff was friendly at the buffet. I did have 2 issues that kept me from giving them a 5 star. One is parking is horrible, my husband was outside like fifteen minutes looking for a parking. And the other is lengthy see below... As I entered the foyer I was impressed by the tasteful luxurious decor. I was going to book our nighttime on Booking.com but I figured I asked the receptionist if they would offer a amend bargain equally most hotels rather exercise business concern straight through them. The receptionist said certain I can offer you a improve bargain, merely when he mentioned the price I explained Booking.com was actually 20 dollars cheaper than what you are offer. I asked if he was not able to match or give a bit of a improve price. He was like well perchance you should merely get ahead and book through Booking.com if it'southward that much of a better bargain. I was actually shocked that he said that as he is the beginning hotel clerk that has said ever said that to me and non to mention he knew I was a Hilton'south honour member and then I figured he could at least match information technology and so Embassy suites could get the full business organization (honestly I felt a bit like he was looking downwardly on me for fifty-fifty request - I have money, I simply similar to go the best prices) When I came back to the reception area with my booking I was attended past Becky (I have his name too but I will refrain from mentioning information technology on here) who was and then helpful and sweet. She even texted me to see how I liked my room. And then beside him and the parking outcome. My stay was amazing. Highly recommend!!!"
"Staff were very friendly and helpful! The hotel merely looks very good, the owner(due south) took a personal interest in this and display two vintage VW automobiles in the entrance hall that have been fully restored. The hotel and our room were make clean and inviting. The size and layout of our room was bully as was the larger size mini fridge, greatly appreciated! Our room had a balcony with chairs which made relaxing that much easier. This Embassy Suites has a Ruth'south Chris restaurant within. This is not common for an Diplomatic mission Suites, only very handy! Nosotros spent a twenty-four hour period seeing the sights, so returned to the hotel, freshened upwards, so enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Ruth's Chris without leaving the hotel. But keen! The made to society breakfast was very good and the chef actually seasoned my omelet, overnice bear upon! Multiple times hotel staff texted me to check on us and see if we needed anything. I don't recall this happening at other ES properties. We stay at Embassy Suites all over the country and this 1 stands out. Given the price point for our room, information technology was an outstanding value! Many other ES properties toll much more for a room of lesser size and civilities. Our stay was slap-up and I highly recommend this hotel!"
"We stay at this Embassy Suites when we travel to Florida, terminal time was over Christmas, been meaning to write this for a while. Probably stayed hither 8 nights or and so over the final couple years. Identify is peachy, very clean and a Ruth Chris on site and Mellow Mushroom beyond the street. The antechamber really is fantastic, although it was quiet the terminal couple times due to Covd-xix restrictions. Rooms are e'er make clean and they have a overnice outdoor surface area on the 2nd floor. I take stayed in quite a few Embassy Suites over the years, and candidly some are really run down since they have not been renovated. This one though is superlative notch. My young son loves the fountain when it was on pre-pandemic, hopefully that will be on next time nosotros are there in November."

"The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, they fifty-fifty offered me a band assistance when the the Jacuzzi tub sucked my hand in and cut it rather desperately (similar to the indicate I was debating a tetanus shot) as I was feeling the water temperature. The prophylactic cover of the water return was broken off with screws and sharp plastic protruding. I did non notice this until also belatedly. based on the appearance, it had been broken off for some time. 2 weeks later on and I suspect I may have scars from that incident. Very thankful I was the victim of that and non a kid. The smoke detector was hanging past its wires. I forgot to pack shampoo. The shampoo was tea tree, which lead to a very unpleasant personal experience for one of the males in my family and we all felt like we smelled funny later on. No parking validation. Given the pandemic, I empathise no breakfast, just a prepackaged muffin would take been nice. The sundries shop was non adequately stocked, so purchasing a water or quick snack was not user-friendly. The beds were not comfortable, but the room was very tastefully decorated and comfortably arranged. Be prepared for waits at the lift due to social distancing. Only 1 of the 2 elevators were operational during our visit. The location was groovy! Convenient to the river, aquarium, and loads of restaurants."
"We recently stayed iii nights in a Queen Oversize room with balcony. The location was perfect and the beds were so comfortable. The corner room overlooking the aquarium/river was very relaxing With the current the Covid-19 situation I felt that the rooms were extremely clean. No room service was offered only make clean towels were simply a phone phone call away and arrived very quickly. Unknown to the staff I am a Travel Amanuensis and used my stay to proceeds outset mitt noesis for my clients. Everything and everyone was perfect."
"I made a reservation for a suite with king bed, whirlpool tub, balcony, top floor facing the river. I called and confirmed since it was a anniversary trip and I wanted everything to be right. Problem is that everything I was promised was not possible together. At check in they blamed information technology on a NEW worker so I basically had to choose simply one. My wife wanted the whirlpool tub and so we concluded upwards with a regular room, no balcony, no suite and a view straight into the imax offices across the street. Room was clean and workers were squeamish. I just got jilted on the room I was promised."

"We really actually had a fun time here. Hubby and I went to Chattanooga simply to play around for a long weekend; this location was and then much fun. Bank check in was easy; parking was tight on the start dark (Sabbatum) but super bachelor the next twenty-four hour period all twenty-four hour period. Every bit its winter non all the property civilities were bachelor merely the ones that were open ever had people milling nearly. We had room 117 in the cabin (mayhap adjacent time we'll effort a train auto); yes, some of the earlier reviews really got stuck on the flaws of the rooms which to u.s.a. were small-scale and quite frankly, nit-picky. Its an old building and then there will be some pigment fries and the halls could go a scrap noisy at times. Its not a deal breaker and the toll was slap-up. The old 1960s architecture and sweeping staircase were something you lot don't see often anymore. We spent a swell evening at Gate eleven Distillery; drinks, live music and really attentive bar staff made that evening great. The Frothy Monkey for coffee/breakfast the adjacent morning was quite the people watching spot. Dinner at Stir that night - once again, what a place to watch the crowd. We enjoyed all our food and it was ALL right on the grounds of our hotel then definately a win win for us. We walked the streets, did some shopping, once again right by the hotel property. Our excursions away were to Lookout Mount only literally all the rest of our time was spent right in one location and we loved information technology!"
"Yes, we knew it would be a railway station conversion, but not quite how well its been done. The old booking hall is reception, with enormous loft original ceiling. Off it is the master eating house, but as well small-scale shops and recreational areas. Our room was at the back in one of the add-ons but large and comfortable and a delightful walk along the converted railway carriages (yes, you can book those as a sleeping room) through gardens with demote seating, boule courtroom, fountain to the main building, all under the encompass of the quondam platform. ~We ate in the restaurant, bang-up nutrient. Nosotros drank in the bar in a railway carriage. All excellent. We'd certainly not hesitate to stay once again. The corking part though is that the terminus of the free to use electric hopper bus is right side by side door and takes you direct into whatever part of the urban center yous desire to get. We used it to get to and from all sorts of restaurants. Heavenly!"
"*This review is nigh the choo choo area NOT the hotel. I grew up visiting the choo choo location every few years as a child. I have always enjoyed the restaurants and scenery of the renovated railroad train station. The terminal time I visited, it appeared abandoned and forgotten. I was so upset! Simply, I'm thankful this time, every location appears full or is preparing for a tenant. There are several actually cool bars on site. From a pour your ain beer train car, to whiskey bar, and a distillery, we had plenty to entertain the states on a Friday night. There were as well some bands playing to listen to. There's a comedy club and a music venue for more than amusement. We took full reward of the empty game room that had enough of fun games to play AND the power to have our drinks. At that place'south cornhole and a large Jenga set outdoors for skillful conditions. Lots of fun for a night cap or a night out with friends."
